THE EVEN CRAZIER 365+1 BIT...

This is where, as from the 1st May 2011, I shall be taking REQUESTS for my image a day.
Each image will have the name of the person who suggested that particular photograph; these could be friends or family, and maybe even random strangers... who knows! All I do know is that this is going to be an even bigger challenge than last year.

brushes

Monday 13th June 2011 - 'Brushing Up'

As suggested by my Mum, "Brushes".
Several of the brushes I found within the house... the central one is alien to me...

raindrops

Sunday 12th June 2011 - 'Raindrops'

As suggested by Tanya Lowe, "Since it's so horrible today, how about rain, better still, raindrops".
One of the leaves of our Virginia Creeper with some raindrops on it.

brian

Saturday 11th June 2011 - 'Brian'

As suggested by Sue Anthony, "Snail's antler things please".
A snail called Brian from our garden, posing away, like snails do.

igdesigns

Friday 10th June 2011 - 'IG Designs'

As suggested by Peter Clark, "Life".
This redesign of our graphic design website has been a long time in-the-making… its birth began today…

stag beetle

Thursday 9th June 2011 - 'Stag Beetle (Lamprima aurata)'

As suggested by Ros Parsons, "Just found this in reception, how about it being your photograph for the day?!"
For sure, Ros... delighted that she asked, for I'd never seen one before and what incredible creatures they are!

lust

Wednesday 8th June 2011 - 'Lust'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"Difficult decision here because most of my family are on Facebook so I've opted for something positively suggestive but keeping within the grounds of decency.
Fruitfully lusty I believe...

envy

Tuesday 7th June 2011 - 'Envy'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"
Maybe this is where the term "green with envy" originated?

greed

Monday 6th June 2011 - 'Greed'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"
Thought I'd be a little more artistic with this one, especially as this will now be my third in this series. A straight shot of various stacks of coins and then several self-portraits in different poses, scaled down as if I'm walking around the stacks.

pride

Sunday 5th June 2011 - 'Pride'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"
Have to say, this was a difficult one to do. Being a distinctly average northerner, I've gone through life with a handful of things to be proud of... one of which has to be being given the opportunity to redesign Irving & Co. Brewers pump clips.

wrath

Saturday 4th June 2011 - 'Wrath'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"
Set my camera on continuous and then just effed and blinded at the lens...

sloth

Friday 3rd June 2011 - 'Sloth'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"
Deliberately left some pots and pans lying around, along with beer bottles, trying to make the place look as if it was a hovel. Thought the idea of not being dressed also added to laziness of the shot.

gluttony

Thursday 2nd June 2011 - 'Gluttony'

As suggested by Lisa Ward, "How about one each of the deadly sins to keep you going for a week?"
I had a few empties around that need taking up to the bottle bank, so it was just a case of setting my camera on self-timer and pretending to be pissed (something I'm not acquainted to).

pendulous

Wednesday 1st June 2011 - 'Pendulous'

As suggested by Peter Clark, "Pendulous".
A balloon filled with water, suspended on an elastic band. One hand holding the balloon, the other photographing it... quite a tricky process.
