Black Medick
Medicago lupulina

This low-growing native annual flower is a member of the pea family and has tiny yellow florets which can have up to fifty flowers in each rounded head. Its leaves are clover-like and have a minute point on the apex of each leaflet. They can be seen blooming from April right through to October and can be found in grassy places, wasteland and recently cultivated or disturbed land.
