TURNING THE PLACE OVER
Designed by Richard Wilson, 'Turning the Place Over' is a 26ft diameter ovoid cut from the façade of a derelict Yate's Wine Lodge. It has been made to oscillate in three dimensions, resting on a specially designed giant rotator, usually used in the shipping and nuclear industries. The whole sculpture acts as a huge opening and closing 'window', revealing glimpses of the interior. |
