SPECKLED BUSH-CRICKET
Leptophyes punctatissima
This specimen is still in its nymph state. Their compact bodies are green with tiny black dots. They have long spindly legs with a body length of 14mm. They favour hedges and scrub and are mainly found in the south. This image was included in a Portsmouth newspaper, The News, details of which can be found here.
